Usage Analysis

In the Network Bandwidth Usage menu, you can view historical traffic trends for devices and interfaces. Analyze long-term trends by examining historical data for up to 31 days.

Basic screen and settings

1. In the top option bar Time selection of Usage Analysis, select the time range to query. You can set up to 31 days.

   • Click 1 Minute to change the data query interval.

     Quick select option	Description
     Last 5 min	Query last 5 minutes of data
     Last 10 min	Query last 10 minutes of data
     Last 1 hour	Query last 1 hour of data
     Last 1 day	Query last 24 hours of data (default)
     Last 7 days	Query last 7 days of data
     Last 21 days	Query last 21 days of data
     Today (0~24h)	Query from 00:00 to 23:59 today
     1 day ago (0~24h)	Query from 00:00 to 23:59 one day ago
     7 days ago (0~24h)	Query from 00:00 to 23:59 seven days ago

2. In the top option bar Select Manager, select the NMS manager that collects data.

3. In the Select Device area, select the device or interface to query and analyze usage.

   • Device list: Registered devices are displayed sorted by name. Expand each device to view the list of interfaces for that device.

     Selection level	Description
     Device	Displays total traffic trend for the device
     Interface	Displays detailed trend for a specific interface

Chart options

• Unit display

  Traffic data is automatically converted to an appropriate unit.

  Value range	Unit
  0 ~ 1,000	bps
  1,000 ~ 1,000,000	Kbps
  1,000,000 ~ 1,000,000,000	Mbps
  1,000,000,000 or more	Gbps

• Tooltip

  Hover over the chart to see detailed values at that point in time. Values for multiple series are displayed simultaneously.

Usage analysis - Device

When you select a device in the Select Device area, the total traffic trend for that device is displayed as a chart.

Basic charts

Chart	Description

Outbound Throughput	Outbound traffic

Private MIB widget

If custom OIDs are configured for the device, additional charts for those metrics are displayed. Widget settings are saved in local storage.

Usage analysis - Interface

When you select a specific interface in the Select Device area, the detailed trend for that interface is displayed. The layout is the same as the interface view in Usage Status.

Charts

• Traffic trend (bps)
• PPS trend (packets per second)
• Error trend

Download query results

You can save the queried screen as a file.

1. Click the Download button on the right of the top option bar.

2. Select a file format from the dropdown.

   Item	Description
   PDF	Saves the screen as an A4-sized document. Long content is split across multiple pages
   PNG	Saves the screen as a single image

   The capture covers the chart area on the right; the Select Device panel on the left is not included. Areas hidden by scrolling are also saved.

   The following information is recorded at the top of the saved file.

   • Date (query period)

   • Project name

   • Manager

   • Target (device or interface)

Note

If there is no data to query, the Download button is displayed as disabled. If saving fails, a file or image download failure notice is displayed.

You can access the page directly with specific conditions by including parameters in the page URL.
