Device Asset Management

Device Asset Management is the screen for viewing and managing the asset information of devices registered to the network as an integrated list. Asset attributes such as asset number, asset status, ownership and maintenance information, and installation location can be checked per device in one place, so it is used to understand the status of network devices in operation and to manage the asset ledger. It is intended for infrastructure and network operators who run many network devices.

Note

Device Asset Management focuses on viewing and managing the asset information of registered devices. Monitoring settings such as device registration, SNMP Polling configuration, and Health Check are managed in Device Inventory.

Entering the screen

You can enter the asset management screen in two ways.

  • Select the Asset Management menu in the sidebar.
  • Open the device details in Device Inventory, then click the Asset Management button at the top right. The asset information of the device selected in the inventory is displayed immediately.

Basic screen

The top area provides manager selection and filters, and the bottom area displays the asset list as a table.

Manager selection

Select the connected NMS Manager instance. Only the asset information of devices registered to the selected manager is shown in the list. Use Preset management to save and reuse frequently used query conditions.

Filter

Narrow down the list with the following conditions. Choose the conditions and apply them with Search, and revert them with Reset Filter.

The No., Actions, Alias, and Host columns are always displayed. Other columns can have their visibility and order changed in Column Settings, and the changed configuration is saved per project.
