SSO Integration

By setting up Single Sign-On (SSO), you can log in to the WhaTap monitoring service and external applications with a single account. You can access the WhaTap service using an Identity Provider (IdP) account used in your organization, or build an environment where you access external services with your WhaTap account.

WhaTap supports integration with the following IdPs:

Integration flow

SSO integration proceeds in the following order:

  1. Generate an SSO key from WhaTap: Create an SSO key in the WhaTap service and verify the authentication information (EntityID, Sign-On URL).

  2. Configure the application in the IdP: Create a WhaTap integration application in the IdP you are using (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, etc.) and complete the SAML setup.

  3. Register IdP metadata in WhaTap: Register the metadata issued by the IdP in WhaTap to complete SSO integration.
