Release of new features​

It provides a guide to the new features released in Service 2.2.0.

Common​

  • New Reorganized the side menus.

    The side menus have been reorganized. The previous UI structure where the projects and project menus were separated at the top and bottom, has been reorganized into the menu-centered structure. To check the changed items in the service screen, select Tutorials below the side menu.

  • New Added the SSO account linking option.

    Note

Kubernetes​

  • New Added the kube-apiserver Dashboard menu to monitor the availability and performance of the cluster by collecting health and performance metrics for kube-apiserver and tracing the response times, throughput, request failures, and such.

  • Fixed For all products except URL, in Event configuration, fixed the issue where the chart is not drawn when there is only one time point for data on the notification rule test chart when setting metrics events.

  • Fixed In Notifications, fixed the issue where the columns in the table are pushed to the right if the member name is too long in the Event notification settings per-user section table.

Usage​

  • Changed In Project Subscription Status, changed from Including projects that user does not have billing role to Shows all paid projects and added the tooltip.

  • Changed In Payment information, modified the text to consent to the terms and conditions when registering a card payment method.

Management​

  • Changed Change the title on the Add Group page: Project list → Add Group.

  • Changed In Integrated member management, modified to display an alert when a unique member who has the roles for payment and member management has been deleted.

  • Fixed In Integrated member management, disabled the Delete button to prevent the members in the subgroups under organization from being deleted.

Manage Accounts​

  • Changed When the OTP key has not been generated at the Multi-factor authentication section, the Send OTP key via email button has been disabled.

  • Fixed In My profile, fixed the issue where even tags are copied when copying a reason for not being able to withdraw from membership.

User Interface​

Changed Applied the dark theme to WhaTap logo in the About WhaTap Monitoring window, and added WhaTap Network to the platform.

Application​

  • Feature In Dashboard > Transaction map, applied a new UI with features reorganized.

    • Expanded the data inquiry section up to 10 minutes in the past.
    • Through the Trace analysis window, the maximum number of searchable data has been increased (100 → 1000).
    • Displays the counts for transactions and errors in real time.
    • Keyboard events have been added in the Top 30 list.
    • The keyboard events have been added in charts.
    • When searching the previous data, the data received from the server can be filtered.

    Widgets marked with the All APPS. tag are fixed to always display data for all agents.

  • Changed In Dashboard > Application dashboard, modified the design elements in the chart area (modified the widget title size, widget spacing, and chart section text size).

  • Feature In the Alert > Event configuration > Database tab, the agent restoration notification function (Notify when event status is resolved.) has been added.

    Note

    This function is supported in DBX agent 1.6.30 or later.

  • Feature In Management > Agent list, added the DB IP column that displays the IP address of the database server.

  • Changed In Management > Agent Installation, added considerations depending on the operating system when entering commands to create a DB user file.

  • Fixed In the Alert > Event configuration > Database tab, modified the text, Database inactive alert to Inactive agent alert.

  • Fixed In Management > Agent list, changed the color of the status icon and modified to check with the tooltip when you place the mouse over whether the text size for the Name(Initial) or DB IP column is greater than the column width.

  • Deprecated In Alert > Event history, deleted the Alert log button.

MySQL V2​

  • Feature Added the plan search function in JSON format.

  • Feature In Stat/Report > Database size, added the function to check the column and index lists when the TABLENAME column is clicked in the Table size (TOP 50) table.

Redis​

Changed In Management > Agent Installation, added descriptions for the uid.sh execution command that differ depending on the Redis version.

Kubernetes​

  • Feature In Dashboard > Container Map, added the ReplicationController grouping option.

  • Changed When using the comparison feature in Container > Container list, added the Container CPU Usage chart in the Default and CPU tabs.

  • Changed In Cluster > Object Manifest, modified the UI design and added TOC for the Compare function.

Browser​

  • Feature Added the network status metrics in the page load hitmap data: Valid connection type, RTT, and Valid bandwidth.

Network​

  • Feature Added the option to identify AWS resources when installing the agent.

  • Changed In Dashboard > Network topology and Network trend (TCP), modified to enable the real-time view for the last 5 minutes.

  • Changed In Dashboard > Network topology, modified as follows:

    • Among topology options, changed the name of the Edge option to Indicator.

    • Among the topology options, deleted the node size weight option and changed the node size weight to be set according to the selected Indicator option.

  • Fixed In Dashboard > Network topology, fixed the issue where all tags appear as unselected when the page is refreshed with a preset selected.

  • Fixed Under Analysis, added missing searchable fields, and modified to expose only the fields that can be searched in each menu.

    • Added the session_count field in the following two menus:
