Group Navigator
In Group Navigator, you can browse network devices and interfaces in a hierarchical structure and check performance metrics in real time. Drill down in the order of Site →
Building →
Floor →
Device →
Interface, and visualize traffic, status, and error information for each level.
In Group Navigator, you can monitor network status in real time through the following tasks.
-
Navigate quickly to a desired location
-
Check device and interface status summaries for each hierarchy level
-
Analyze traffic and error metrics in detail for devices or interfaces
Basic screen and settings
Set query conditions in the top option bar of the Group Navigator screen, and select monitoring targets in the left panel.
Time selection
In the top option bar Time selection, you can set the query time range.
LIVE mode refreshes data every 5 seconds and allows queries for up to 31 days. The default live range is 1 hour.
Select Manager
In the top option bar Select Manager, select the NMS manager that collects data to check performance metrics.
Group Selection
The Group Selection panel allows you to navigate the hierarchy in a tree structure: Site →
Building →
Floor →
Device →
Interface.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| — Collapse all | Collapse the entire tree |
| + Expand all | Expand the entire tree |
| Close/open panel |
Breadcrumb navigation
Breadcrumb navigation is displayed. The path of the selected node is shown at the top. Click each path to navigate to a higher level.
- Example:
Site A > Building 1 > Floor 2 > Device-001
The current selection position is saved as a URL parameter (nodeKey) and can be bookmarked or shared.
Group level summary
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Devices | Total number of devices within the selected scope |
| Interfaces | Total number of interfaces within the selected scope |
| Group card | Shows the number of devices/interfaces per subgroup; click to drill down into that group |
Checking device status and traffic information
When you select a specific device, you can check the status and traffic information of the interfaces belonging to that device.

Filter options
You can toggle the Hide Logical Interfaces and Hide Unused Interfaces options in the upper right of the screen.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Hide Logical Interfaces | Hides logical interfaces such as VLAN and Loopback from the list; shows only physical ports (ethernetCsmacd, fastEther, etc.) |
| Hide Unused Interfaces | Hides interfaces with no traffic during the query period from the list |
Filter settings are saved in the browser and retained for the next session.
Interface summary panel
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Total | Total number of interfaces |
| Link Up | Number of interfaces with active links |
| Link Down | Number of interfaces with disconnected links |
| Admin Down | Number of interfaces disabled by administrator |
Click each status count to display a detail list modal. The modal shows a list of interfaces with that status.
