To create a project, you need to sign up for a WhaTap account in advance. After completing the sign-up, proceed with project creation.

  5. After completing all settings, click the Creating a project button.

Note

If you add a project while an organization is selected, you must set the Groups of organization field.

For more information about groups, see the related document.

Checking the access key

The access key is the unique ID to enable the WhaTap service.

In the installation guide section, select Getting the access key. After the access key has been issued automatically, proceed to the next step.

Note

After a project has been created, the Agent installation page appears automatically. If the Agent installation does not appear, select Management > Agent installation on the left of the screen.

Download agent

Once you receive the access key, the download button in the Agent file download section will be activated. Select the EXE Download or ZIP Download button to download the agent installation file.

  • For users who cannot download .exe files due to security settings, a .zip format file is also provided.

  • For server security, it is recommended to run the downloaded installation file rather than directly installing through the browser.

Install agent

  1. Double-click the downloaded installation file to run it.

  2. Following the on-screen instructions, enter the access key in the License Key field and the WhaTap server IP in the WhaTap IP field.

You can copy the access key and WhaTap server IP values from the project creation screen of the WhaTap monitoring service.
