Caution

Update the master agent and node agent to the 1.9.28 image together.

• Changed Removed ANSI control characters from agent logs in non-interactive environments

  • In environments without a console, such as Kubernetes containers and background processes, the node agent and master agent no longer add ANSI color control characters to their logs by default.
  • Applies the shared ANSI setting to the thread name and caller prefix as well as the log body, so control characters such as ESC[32m, ESC[33m, and ESC[0m are no longer exposed as raw text.
  • If you need terminal colors, enable them with the JVM option -Dwhatap.ansi.enabled=true. Setting it to false disables them regardless of whether a console is present.
  • Apart from the ANSI default, there are no configuration, RBAC, or volume mount changes.
  Note

  This change applies to the Kube Agent's own logs. It doesn't address how ANSI codes in application container stdout and stderr are displayed or searched.
