• Feature Added the kube_hpa category for collecting HPA list information

  • Collects the HPA name, namespace, creation time, and scale target information every 30 seconds.
  • Sends the minimum, maximum, current, and desired replica counts along with the able-to-scale, scaling-active, and scaling-limited conditions.
  • Collects the type, target value, and current value of Pods, External, and Object metrics as well as CPU and memory, as parallel lists in which items at the same index represent one metric.
  • Uses the autoscaling/v2 API first and falls back to the autoscaling/v1 API on clusters that don't support it.
  • Uses the existing horizontalpodautoscalers permission, so no RBAC changes are required.
  Note

  Metric values are delivered as strings such as 50% or 100m, not as single numbers. In environments where the source metrics are unavailable, such as when metrics-server isn't installed, the current value may be <unknown>.

• Changed Added scale target and creation time tags to kube_hpa_stat

  • The existing fields remain unchanged.
