Dashboard

After installing the WhaTap agent, log in WhaTap Monitoring Service. The initial screen is Project List. In Project List, you can see the installed project. If a project is selected from the Project List, you can enter Instance List.

In the WhaTap database monitoring service, the dashboard allows you to see the overall status of the project at a glance. You can check the total resource size for monitoring and filter the resources to be monitored on the real-time dashboard.

  • It is configured to show key performance metrics and status. The performance metrics are updated every 5 seconds.

  • You can check the active sessions (including queries), lock information, and process information. To apply both the public cloud and private cloud, the products are configured for query-based monitoring.

  • In a single instance, multiple databases are filtered.

  • Based on the collected data, it provides the function to analyze the overall trend for a specific day. You can analyze slow queries after identifying active sessions at a specific time point.

Instance List

You can see the list of database servers in which the agent has been installed. It is configured to display key performance metrics and status. The performance metrics are updated every 5 seconds, and the columns in the list can be arranged through settings. For more information, see the following.

Monitoring a Database Instance

  • Multiple instances are grouped and monitored simultaneously on a screen. You can monitor the overall system status by selecting desired key metrics.

  • The real-time monitoring checks the performance metrics at an interval of 5 seconds. You can check the Active sessions, Lock tree, and Process Info.

Monitoring a Database Instance

While you can monitor only one instance in Monitoring a Database Instance, Monitoring Multiple Instances allows you to see and compare the metrics for multiple instances on a screen. You can see the status of instances through grouped values for various key instance metrics. Using the graph charts, you can easily see the trend of instance metric values and which instances have higher values. It provides information of the longest lasting active session. Slow Query

It provides the response time distribution by SQL. Through the response distribution, you can intuitively check the status of delayed SQL and identify the cause of failure by specifying the target. For more information, see the following.
